“Sabrina is absolutely amazing! We hired her because we wanted support during birth and for my husband to be involved but we didn't know how or what he could do. I was a little hesitant about hiring a doula at first because I wasn't sure if I would feel comfortable having another person in the room besides my husband. Once I met Sabrina though I knew that she was a perfect fit for us! She is so kind, encouraging and knowledgeable and, as a first-time mom, she made me feel really prepared for the birthing process. I wanted an all-natural hospital birth, and though everything didn't go exactly according to plan, I achieved my goal of a pain-med free birth with thanks to Sabrina. She educated me on the different choices I had when it came to different procedures that could happen and provided unbiased research to help me make an informed decision. During labor, she suggested different positions for me to try, helped my husband massage and support me, and spoke invaluable words of encouragement. “Sabrina is amazing! She encapsulated my placenta on November 3,2016. During labor, she stayed in contact with me, arrived shortly after I delivered to pick up my placenta, went straight to my house and got started. She let my 14-year-old daughter assist her and explained every step of the process to her. She was very professional. She sanitized EVERYTHING before and after. She took her time, didn't rush at all throughout the whole process. She went home while my placenta was dehydrating, with only a few hours of sleep, she came back in the middle of the night to check on it, I had my placenta pills first thing the next morning. I can't thank her enough for her services, especially since she works all day long at her full-time job, only to go above and beyond to make sure her clients are taken care of! It doesn't stop once her services are complete, she still gets in touch with me to check on my son and me. Although, I didn't have her as a doula, (I would have if it were my first or second, but he was my 6th baby) I do know she is very educated in what she does. We spent a lot of time talking, you can hear it in her voice how much she truly loves and enjoys what she does.” -Amanda

“As new would-be parents, my wife and I had no idea about kids or birth. I was very nervous because she wanted a very free and natural birth, something that seemed to go against what most people do and what (it seems like) hospitals want. I wasn’t sure I would feel confident in helping my wife through pregnancy and birth on my own so we looked into a doula. We met Sabrina and loved her instantly. She is very genuine, open and easy-going. We asked her if we could discuss it overnight and she said of course, but as soon as she left we thought we should have just locked her in. Once a month she would come visit and discuss certain things about the birth and pregnancy. My wife had many question about things that will happen at the hospital that Sabrina could answer with confidence. She showed us techniques we could do together to help relieve pain, made sure we felt confident and, to me, the most important thing, was driving home that this was our birth and she would help us have it as we wanted. During the labor Sabrina was awesome. Before it got real, we played games and talked about Harry Potter and helped us fight the pain and get the baby going. One thing I will always remember about Sabrina is after the baby came, and my wife was pretty out of it, the nurses asked me if we wanted some shot for the baby. I knew there were several different things my wife was particular on and I didn't know which was which. I looked at Sabrina and she was able to tell me. I would recommend Sabrina to anyone, not only for the mom but especially for the dad. She gave me confidence that we could have the birth we wanted. "She was always there when I just needed to talk"
“Sabrina helped me after I lost my daughter and through my pregnancy with my rainbow baby. She was always there when I just needed to talk. I was terrified my entire second pregnancy about losing my son. She was always available to talk and let me know if things were normal. She was an ear to freak out on. Which I really needed. Our relationship was slightly different in the fact that she is in Oklahoma and I am in Ohio. Therefore, she was unable to attend my son’s birth in person, but during labor she made herself available over the phone. She also was there to help me work through my feelings of having another C-section. If she could offer that much support over the phone and states away I can only imagine how it would be if it was in person. “ -Jessica

“Sabrina was absolutely wonderful before, during and after my labor and delivery. I had a risk of developing preeclampsia and she helped ease all my fears even though I had to be induced early because of it. Because of her, my husband was able to tend to our 3-year-old until other family could arrive and I felt completely at ease with her while I was laboring. She was attentive and never left my side. Her main goal was to help me achieve the natural labor and delivery that I had chosen to have. My husband and I are greatly appreciative of her and are so thankful she was there to help welcome our little boy into the world. Highly recommend using her for your doula needs.” – Jan

“Sabrina is amazing! She has such a bubbly personality and is very easy to talk to. My husband was hesitant at first to get a doula but after having a doula sit-down, he was sold. Sabrina made us feel comfortable and gave many pointers about preparation for our birth. She helped to boost our confidence and even came over to help us create birth affirmations, which we hung all over our walls to help us maintain a good attitude about our birth. We delivered our first daughter, Abigail at home in the tub. We had no idea I was in labor at the time Abigail was born. My husband called her to see if she could check on me until our midwife arrived a few hours later. Sabrina came over quickly and explained my status to the midwife. Sabrina helped to keep us calm and gave suggestions about how to ease my pressure waves. During our birthing process, Sabrina showed my husband how to be supportive and how to help me to feel as comfortable as possible. Sabrina encapsulated my placenta and I cannot begin to tell you how helpful this was postpartum. Sabrina was a great fit for us and was always available. I would recommend her to all mothers and fathers who would like an extra hand and someone to go to for advice during pregnancy and delivery.” -Ashley
